Mills Motorsport and Dutton Group – A Perfect Match.

Official Release: Mills Motorsport Group

25 October 2022

It is with great pleasure that Mills Motorsport Group announce the re-signing of the Dutton Group for season 2022-2023.

From 1911 when Albert Octavius Dutton began building horse-drawn carriages, the Dutton brand has a legacy of auto racing in Australia that is beyond compare. Their reputation has been built on a consistently superior level of service, an enviable network of relationships and an unmatched understanding of the automotive industry. Today, the Dutton Group is Australia’s largest national used car wholesaler dealing in general, prestige and luxury cars.

The partnership of Mills Motorsport and Dutton Garage is one of success and longevity and both parties are excited for the season ahead.

“Having the backing of Dutton Garage is something we’re really proud and grateful for. Their support of us and the sport of Speedcar racing in Victoria is second to none. They’ve been with us for well over 15 years and that kind of support in any industry is hard to find,” explained principal driver Travis Mills.

Over recent years Dutton Garage have extended their support to the Victorian Speedcar Drivers Association and partnered with them for the Australian Championship, Victorian Championship and last season also the Southern Speedcar Tour. This season Dutton Garage hands the reigns over to Dutton One as they become the naming rights partner for the 2022-2023 Southern Speedcar Tour.

The team at Dutton One believe in the pursuit of excellence. They strive to provide the people of Australia with an excellent range of preowned prestige cars at exceptionally low prices. With over 12 dealerships across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and ACT, they pride themselves on being leaders in the preowned vehicle industry.

“Formed in 2012 as part of the Dutton Group, Dutton One quickly established themselves in the middle-tier consumer market and we saw an opportunity to partner with Mills Motorsport and promote our branding through their already successful and well-presented race team” stated Clinton Mills, General Manager Wholesale.

The start of the 2022-2023 season has been delayed for Mills Motorsport due to manufacturing hold ups with parts, but the team’s preparations are well underway and are they are expecting to begin their season shortly.
